What Shade of Tint Fits Your Needs?
Car tint shades are measured based on their visible light transmission percentage, or VLT. This is the amount of light that passes through the film, so the lower the VLT, the darker the film.

70% Visible Light Transmission
Shades near the 70% mark hardly look tinted at all, offering the highest visibility both in and out, while still retaining good heat rejection properties.
50-40% Visible Light Transmission
Shades in the 50-40% range have a noticeable light tint, while still offering incredible visibility. If you don't mind a little bit of tint but want more heat rejection, this is the range for you.
30% Visible Light Transmission
Once you hit the 30% range, you can definitely tell the windows are tinted. 30% is the closest to legal limit film in Colorado, offers good visibility, but much more heat rejection.
20% Visible Light Transmission
20% films are pretty close to 30% when not compared directly side by side, but do offer a bit more privacy, higher heat rejection, and reduced glare.
5% Visible Light Transmission
5% films are what most people know as limo tint. It is super dark, and while it provides the highest heat rejection in any film line, night time visibility is greatly reduced.
FAQ's
Tint is always installed on the inside of your vehicle to protect it from the elements.
We first computer cut the film for exact dimensions, thoroughly clean the interior and exterior glass, and then lay the tint and protective liner to the outside of the vehicle.
We then use gentle heat to shrink the film to the curvature of the glass for a perfect fit, remove the liner, and then install inside.
No doubt about it! Ceramic window films offer far superior heat rejection compared to the same shade as a carbon based film.
This allows you to either get higher heat rejection in the same shade, or go with a lighter film to retain the same or better heat rejection if visibility is a concern.
Absolutely! Even though it can last a lifetime and seem permanent, we can always remove the film should you need it.
If needed, we highly recommend having any tint professionally removed, since nearly all cars have defroster lines in the rear, and many new vehicles have sensitive systems in and around the glass that can easily be damaged without proper removal procedures.
Your window tint should last the life of your vehicle, that's why we offer a lifetime warranty on every film we offer.
Every state has their own laws regarding tint legality.
In Colorado, there are two variations: you can legally go down to 27% on all sides and rear, or if the front rollup windows are left clear, everything behind them can be as dark as you like.
Should you be moving to another state and want to make sure you're legal, we can apply whatever shade necessary to ensure your vehicle remains legal once you move.
Window tint helps hold the glass together so it doesn't fly around your vehicle, harming you and your passengers.
It's not a foolproof solution, every accident is different and it is still a thin film, but it does offer much greater protection over un-tinted glass.
A great example is the clear glass of your home.
When it's bright outside, you can't really see into your windows since it's darker outside.
At night, with your lights on inside, it's very easy to see inside.
You will always be able to see into the brighter area easier than the darker area.
Once your car's windows are tinted, it is so much brighter outside than inside the car, so you can see out, but other people can't see in.
Simply put, we refuse to offer any tint that doesn't meet our standards. Although that means we'll never have the absolute cheapest prices, you'll never receive a film that fades, bubbles, or lifts with age.
